About the Movie Miami Vice
Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell star in this visually stylish, dark, slow moving, pulpy crime drama written and directed by Michael Mann. Although loosely based on the 1980s TV series, the movie has a different sensibility. In it Miami police detectives Sonny Crockett (Farrell) and Ricardo Tubbs (Foxx) go undercover and infiltrate a Latin American drug ring. Crockett falls in love with a woman (Gong Li) deeply enmeshed in the drug world, and Tubbs' girlfriend (Naomie Harris) gets abducted by the bad guys.
