I thoroughly enjoyed Power of Art, which felt to me more like a dynamic college-level lecture series than a documentary. The series mixes art photography, location shooting, and dramatizations with Schama's lectures. His intelligence and insight were what made the series sparkle for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed "Lewis Black: Unleashed," and my only complaint is that it was so funny, I hated for it to end. The best part of the ”DVD for me is that Black’s mind runs so fast and bright that he’s truly unpredictable. And there’s nothing funnier than what you can’t see coming. I found this roast of Denis Leary laugh-out-loud funny from start to finish. The humor here often comes from insult-based, roast-style jokes, which may not be to everyone’s taste, but it worked for me, especially since it was consistently entertaining and sometimes hilarious. In fact, I laughed so hard a couple of times that I had tears in my eyes.
