This animated comedy is the follow-up to Ice Age (2002), and the mammoth Manny (voice of Ray Romano), the sloth Sid (voice of John Leguizamo) and the saber-toothed tiger Diego (voice of Denis Leary) are back. This time around, global warming is melting glaciers, flooding the valley where these animals live. They must go on a trek to escape, and along the way they have adventures, meeting two possums (voices of Seann William Scott and Josh Peck) and a mammoth (voice of Queen Latifah) who thinks she's a possum. Al Gore, the former U.S. Vice President and candidate for U.S. President, presents his views on global warning in this op-ed piece. It's a compelling multimedia presentation with charts, graphs, photographs, archival footage, interviews, anecdotes, and other materials. Gore's earnestness and passion help him make a persuasive case that the world's climate is changing and we'd better try to figure out what to do about it. The film is intellectually engaging, and it's worth seeing whether you agree with Gore or not. Selected DVD Special Features:

Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson and Matt Dillon star in this dramedy buddy movie. Carl (Dillon) and Molly (Hudson) get married and move into a suburban house. But Carl's longtime pal Randy Dupree (Wilson) gets down on his luck, and with nowhere else to go, moves in with Carl and Molly. Then Carl begins having problems at work with his boss, who is Molly's father (Michael Douglas). Meanwhile, Dupree turns out to be a very troublesome houseguest, and Carl finds his life spinning out of control. Selected DVD Special Features:
