Zoe Saldana (Avatar) uses big weapons and wears sexy outfits in this English-language B-movie actioner that was co-written and produced by Luc Besson (The Transporter series, La Femme Nikita). The director was Olivier Megaton. The story begins in Bogotá, Colombia, when 10-year-old Cataleya (child actress Amandla Stenberg) sees her parents gunned down by thugs sent by a drug lord. Years later, the adult Cataleya (Saldana), a skilled assassin and parkour expert now living in the United States, sets out to get revenge by taking down the drug lord's cartel, giving rise to action, sex and violence.

Based loosely on an inspiring real-life story, this family drama has a fine cast. The film's main character is Sawyer Nelson (Nathan Gamble), a fatherless 11-year-old who's going through a troubled period. He comes upon a beached dolphin and helps rescue her. Named Winter, the dolphin must have her tail amputated, and she is outfitted with a prosthetic by a doctor (Morgan Freeman). Sawyer's mother is portrayed by Ashley Judd, and the man who runs the rescue facility is played by Harry Connick Jr. Cozi Zuehlsdorff portrays a girl about Sawyer's age, and Kris Kristofferson plays Connick's character's father.

Woody Allen wrote and directed this fanciful movie starring Owen Wilson, who is supported by Marion Cotillard and Rachel McAdams. The protagonist Gil (Wilson) is a Hollywood screenwriter who vacations in Paris with his fiancée (McAdams) and her dreadful parents. At night Gil is magically transported back to the 1920s of his dreams, where he encounters the likes of Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Picasso, Gertrude Stein (Kathy Bates) and Salvador Dalí (Adrien Brody). Also in the '20s, Gil meets Adriana (Cotillard). French first lady Carla Bruni appears as a guide at the Rodin Museum.
