xXx Movie Summary:
Vin Diesel stars in this action movie, which also features Samuel L. Jackson and Asia Argento. Xander Cage (Diesel) is a daredevil who sometimes gets involved in illegal stunts to make a point, and Augustus Gibbons (Jackson), a National Security Agency official, offers him a choice between prison and accepting a dangerous undercover assignment. Xander ends up being tasked with stopping a Czech madman named Yorgi (Marton Csokas), who threatens to use a biochemical weapon. Xander travels to Prague, where he infiltrates Yorgi's organization and meets the alluring Yelena (Argento), who starts to fall for him. xXx has high production values and many well-done action sequences, and the movie is in general rather like a James Bond film, except it skews younger and is a little more down and dirty.
