Tsotsi Movie Summary:
Winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, this drama is set in Soweto, near Johannesburg, South Africa. The protagonist is a young thug known as Tsotsi, who lives in poverty and is involved in thievery and drugs. Then one day he shoots an affluent woman and drives off in her car. Soon he discovers there's a baby in the back seat, and he takes it to his dwelling. A mother lives nearby, and he forces her at gunpoint to breast-feed the infant. But somehow the child causes Tsotsi to change.
