Will Ferrell stars in this comedy set in the world of stock car racing. Ricky Bobby (Ferrell) becomes a star on the Nascar circuit with some help from his longtime pal and racing partner (John C. Reilly). This makes Ricky wealthy, and he acquires a beautiful gold-digger for a wife (Leslie Bibb). But soon after a gay French Formula One driver (Sacha Baron Cohen) bursts onto the scene, Ricky loses his nerve. His career goes into a tailspin and his wife leaves him, and he struggles to try to again become a winner.
