Controversial boxing great Mike Tyson is the subject of this documentary by James Toback. The format is Tyson talking about himself, interspersed with archival footage. Tyson tells of his troubled youth in Brooklyn, ending up in a juvenile detention center, where he began to box. Trainer Cus D'Amato helped Tyson become a professional, and at age 20 he won a heavyweight title. Tyson was in his heyday in the late 1980s and 1990s, though he spent three years in prison for raping beauty queen Desiree Washington. In 1997 he bit off Evander Holyfield's ear during a bout.
