Based loosely on Homer's "Iliad," this movie about the Trojan War stars Brad Pitt as Achilles, Eric Bana as Hector, Brian Cox as Agamemnon, and Peter O'Toole as Priam. The war is triggered when Paris (Orlando Bloom), prince of Troy, takes the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger) away from her husband Menelaus (Brendan Gleeson), king of Sparta. The Greeks lay siege to Troy and pull the famous Trojan Horse trick to gain entrance to the city.
