A spoof of the long-running television show Cops, Reno 911! is a Comedy Central TV program about eight goofy people who are supposed to enforce the law in Reno, Nevada. Reno 911!: Miami is a feature-length version of the Comedy Central show, and the movie has all eight regulars going to a police convention in Florida. There a weird crisis arises that leaves the Reno sheriffs as the only law enforcement for all of Miami. They have to deal with an alligator in a swimming pool and a dead whale at a topless beach.
