About the Movie Dead Silence on DVD:
This horror movie is written and directed by the same team that did Saw. In Dead Silence, Jamie Ashen (Ryan Kwanten) and his wife receive an unmarked box containing a ventriloquist's dummy. After Jamie goes out to get food, he returns to find his wife dead, her tongue missing. Jamie then travels to his decaying hometown of Ravens Fair, where he hears the legend of a ventriloquist named Mary Shaw who died there in 1941. He discovers some things about his own family as he tries to figure out what is going on.
