I thoroughly enjoyed "Strangers With Candy - Season Three" on DVD and found that it was laugh-out-loud funny throughout. I particularly liked the way it imaginatively mixed outrageous, often politically incorrect humor with tongue-in-cheek melodrama as it spoofed "after school" TV specials and other television shows that put too cloyingly sweet a spin on high-school life. The show revolves around Jerri Blank (Amy Sedaris), a former teenage runaway who was "a boozer, a user, a loser," and ex-con before deciding in middle age to return to her old life as a high school freshman. I found the DVDs extremely entertaining. I thought the bonus materials were a little on the skimpy side, but to my mind the dance sequence compilation was definitely worth watching.
