About the Movie The Last Mimzy on DVD:
Two children find a box which was sent from the future in an effort to save humankind from ecological catastrophe in this sci-fi family movie. Ten-year-old Noah and his younger sister Emma are at the beach when they discover the box, which contains various items, including a stuffed rabbit called Mimzy. The kids soon develop supernatural powers, which are noticed by a science teacher and his New Age girlfriend. At one point, Noah and Emma cause a widespread blackout, bringing in the federal government.
