Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are paired in this raunchy bromantic comedy (a humorous movie about two straight men becoming close friends). Peter Klaven (Rudd) is preparing to wed an attractive, sweet woman (Rashida Jones) when he begins to feel the need for a best buddy. He goes on some "man dates" to try to match up with another guy, but these are a disaster. But he's a real estate agent, and one day at an open house he meets Sydney Fife (Segel), who's there to eat the free food. Peter and Sydney gradually bond, particularly because both love the band Rush.
