Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway star in this adaptation of Lauren Weisberger's best-selling novel. When fresh-faced Andy Sachs (Hathaway) graduates from Northwestern, she goes to New York and takes a job as an assistant to Miranda Priestly (Streep), the tyrannical editor of a Vogue-like fashion magazine. Miranda makes Andy's life miserable, but Streep creates a memorable character, and viewers get an opportunity to see fabulous clothing and accessories.
