I know of 12 DVD Easter eggs on “The Incredibles” two-disc set, and I’ll give a description of how you can find them. For most of the eggs, timing is important. You may have to try more than once. Some of them require a little patience.
One of the eggs is on Disc 1. At the main menu, highlight "Commentaries" and press Enter. When the Commentaries menu appears, wait a few moments and an icon of Mr. Incredible will appear in the lower right-hand corner. Press the down arrow button, then the right arrow button, then press Enter. You'll see Mr. Incredible dance to big band swing in his living room.
The other 11 eggs I know about are all on Disc 2, and I'll describe these below.
At the main menu, highlight "Intro" and wait a few moments until an icon appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter. You'll see a two-and-a-half minute montage of animated sequences from "The Incredibles" involving buttons and doors.
At the main menu, highlight "Deleted Scenes" and press Enter. At the next menu, highlight "Play All" and wait until an icon appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see a one-minute-twenty-second deleted scene in black-and-white about a classroom prank.
At the main menu, highlight "Behind the Scenes" and press Enter. At the next menu, highlight "Making of the Incredibles" and wait until an icon appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see a one-minute-twenty-second tribute to animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston.
After you've watched the tribute described above and the Behind the Scenes menu comes back, wait until the icon once again appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see a one-minute-ten-second clip titled "Markisms." The man we see here is story supervisor Mark Andrews.
At the main menu, highlight "Behind the Scenes" and press Enter. At the next menu, highlight "Publicity" and press Enter. At the next menu, highlight "Play All" and wait until an icon appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see a few seconds of an animated clip with Dash and Mr. Incredible.
After you've watched the clip described in the preceding paragraph and the Publicity menu comes back, wait until the icon once again appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see a few seconds of an animated clip with Mr. Incredible and Frozone.
At the main menu, highlight "Set Up" and press Enter. At the next menu, "English" near the top of the screen will be highlighted. Wait until an icon appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see effects artist Mach Kobayashi's three-and-a-half minute sock puppet parody of the movie.
At the main menu, highlight "Index" and press Enter. At the next menu, "Intro" will be highlighted. Wait until an icon appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see and hear some background to the scene in "The Incredibles" involving chocolate cake.
At the main menu, highlight "Index" and press Enter. At the next menu, highlight "More Making of the Incredibles" and press Enter. At the next menu, "Play All" will be highlighted. Wait until an icon appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see two versions of a scene where Dash gets slugged.
After you've watched the clip described in the preceding paragraph and the More Making of the Incredibles menu comes back, wait until the icon once again appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see seven takes of Mr. Incredible hitting a bad guy with a rock.
At the main menu, highlight "Index" and press Enter. At the next menu, highlight the arrow to the right of "Next Page" and press Enter. At the next page, "Mr. Incredible and Pals" will be highlighted. Wait until an icon appears at the upper right of the screen. Press the up arrow button, then press Enter, and you'll see a crew member take a scooter ride that ends badly.
