Criterion has announced its plans to release a selection of movies in their collection on Blu-ray Disc. The releases will begin coming out in October 2008. Criterion Collection titles coming to Blu-ray include:

The Third Man (1949)
The Blu-ray editions will include the same special features as the standard DVD editions and will be priced the same. An all new edition of Walkabout is planned that will include new special features and a new transfer.
