DVD News: April 3, 2006
Six of the major Hollywood studios are now selling downloadable movies like King Kong and Memoirs of a Geisha online. Some new films, such as Brokeback Mountain, will be downloadable the same day they are released on DVD. Some movies will be available on Movielink, others on CinemaNow, while some will be on both. But be advised that these movies have to be played back from a computer hard drive, so unless your computer is connected to your TV, you would have to watch them on a computer screen.
