"Aliens of the Deep" DVD
This is a documentary movie from James Cameron about strange creatures that live at the bottom of the sea.

"Born Into Brothels" DVD
Winner of the Academy Award for Best Documentary, this movie tells the stories of a few of the children who live in Calcutta's red light district. Filmmakers Zana Briski and Ross Kauffman give the kids cameras and teach them how to use them, and one talented boy travels to Amsterdam for a competition. Also, Briski tries to help some of the youngsters escape their squalid world by getting them into boarding schools, but she runs into problems with both parents and government bureaucracy.

"Mad Hot Ballroom" DVD
This feel-good documentary is about New York City elementary school kids preparing for a ballroom dancing competition. The film focuses on three public schools located in TriBeCa, Washington Heights and Bensonhurst. The classes and competition are part of a program organized by the American Ballroom Theater. The kids are about 11 years old, and they are shown working on dances like the fox trot, swing and tango. In the documentary, we hear from not only the students, but also the instructors.

"Gunner Palace" DVD
This documentary is about American soldiers serving in Iraq during 2003 and 2004. Made by Michael Tucker and Petra Epperlein, the movie follows the U.S. Army's 2-3 Field Artillery Division, whose headquarters are in what is left of a Baghdad palace once owned by Saddam Hussein's son Uday. The film observes the soldiers' daily lives both off and on duty, including their peacekeeping activities and attempts to root out insurgents..
