Guide Review - 'Definitely, Maybe' DVD Review
Definitely, Maybe Review
Definitely, Maybe is a warm, laugh-out loud funny romantic dramedy with just enough edge to make this deliberately unrealistic film emotionally satisfying. Witty dialogue, charming lead actors, location shooting and an unusual dramatic structure add to this film's appeal. Definitely, Maybe is not a subtle film. Although it deals with real issues in modern life and relationships, when I watched the movie I had no doubt I was in the world of make-believe.
Definitely, Maybe Movie Summary
Ryan Reynolds, Isla Fisher, Elizabeth Banks and Rachel Weisz are in the attractive cast of this romantic dramedy. Advertising exec Will Hayes (Reynolds) is about to get divorced and tells a story to his young daughter (Abigail Breslin): he recounts three previous romantic relationships, and she is to try to guess which of the women he married. There's his college sweetheart (Banks) and two very different women (Fisher and Weisz) he meets in New York while working on the 1992 Bill Clinton presidential campaign. Derek Luke and Kevin Kline also appear in the movie.
