Paul Bettany stars in this movie set in a post-apocalyptic alternate reality. There has been a war between humans — whose best fighters were specially trained warrior priests — and vampires. Now humans live in dystopian walled cities ruled by the Church, while vampires have been forced into remote camps. But vampires abduct the niece of Priest (Bettany), and he and her boyfriend (Cam Gigandet) set out to track her down. Along the way, they are joined by Priestess (Maggie Q). Priest's plot is essentially that of The Searchers with the vampires playing the role of the Indians in the old Western.
