"Men in Black II" (2002)

 DVD

Tagline: "Same planet. New scum."

Length: 88 minutes
MPAA Rating: PG-13 for sci-fi action violence and some provocative humor.

Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith reprise their roles in this sequel to the 1997 sci-fi action hit "Men in Black." In the earlier movie, Agent J (Smith) and Agent K (Jones) worked for Men in Black, a clandestine government organization dealing with alien activity on Earth. As the 1997 film wound down, K was "neuralized," a process which erased from his mind everything he ever knew about aliens and the Men in Black organization. In the sequel, J is still working for the organization when a major new threat arises: an alien named Serleena (Lara Flynn Boyle) is on the trail of an energy source that can destroy all life on Earth. Realizing he must have K's help, J finds him working for the U.S. Postal Service and deneuralizes him. Reunited, Agents J and K work together to stop Serleena and save the human race.
