But although it succeeded at the box office, "Pearl Harbor" garnered some pretty abysmal critical reviews. This film weighs in with a whopping 73% of the critics on the Rotten Tomatoes site finding it to be rotten. But just in case you don’t care what critics think, here’s a quick overview of the plot: Two U.S. Army Air Corps pilots, Rafe McCawley (Ben Affleck) and Danny Walker (Josh Hartnett), who have been friends since childhood, both find themselves in love with Navy nurse Evelyn Johnson (Kate Beckinsale). But when the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, all their lives are changed forever.
