The most anticipated video/DVD release slated for September 3, 2002, is "Blade II" starring Wesley Snipes, but be sure to take a look at the additional releases of interest and at next week's movies on video/DVD.

Wesley Snipes
plays the title role in this vampire film, which is a sequel to the 1998 movie
“Blade.” Blade is half-human, half-vampire and was molded by his human
mentor Whistler (Kris Kristofferson) into a vampire killer. In “Blade II”
a mutant strain of extraordinarily powerful vampires called Reapers has emerged,
and Reapers feed on both humans and ordinary vampires. If left unchecked, the
Reapers will wipe out both the human race and the race of ordinary vampires.
Blade and Whistler enter into an uneasy alliance with the Bloodpack, an elite
group of ordinary vampires led by Reinhardt (Ron Perlman), to combat the Reapers.
“Blade II” contains its share of violent action sequences, but what
sets the movie apart from others are its imaginative grotesque horror scenes.
