There are some interesting video/DVD releases slated for July 27, 2004, including "Hellboy" and "The Whole Ten Yards." In addition, we'll take a sneak peek at next week's movies on video/DVD.

This action-adventure movie is based on a comic book, and the title character is a superhero played by Ron Perlman. Hellboy came into the world as a result of a Nazi World War II project, but now he is used by a covert government bureau to combat evil. Hellboy is physically attracted to a female pyrokineticist, but he has little time to pursue a relationship because he must battle paranormal monsters loosed by a resurrected Rasputin.

This comedy is the sequel to "The Whole Nine Yards" (2000), and Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry, and Amanda Peet are back. This time around, Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (Willis) and Jill (Peet) are married and hiding in Mexico, while Oz Oseransky (Perry) has moved to L.A. When Lazlo Gogolak (Kevin Pollak) gets out of prison, he sets out to avenge his son's death. He begins by kidnapping Oz's wife, expecting Oz will lead him to Jimmy.
