In "The Jungle Book 2," Mowgli, the boy, is voiced by Haley Joel Osment and Baloo, the bear, is voiced by John Goodman. Although Mowgli was raised in the jungle by wolves, this movie finds him living with his adoptive human family in a rural village. But Mowgli reunites with his old friend Baloo and, accompanied by the village girl Shanti (voice of Mae Whitman), they head off into the jungle. There Mowgli and Shanti are threatened by a tiger and a big snake, but they have Baloo and Mowgli's other jungle friends to protect them. In the film, Goodman sings "The Bare Necessities."
