There are some interesting video/DVD releases slated for February 17, 2004, including "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star," "Mambo Italiano," and "Runaway Jury." In addition, we'll take a sneak peek at next week's movies on video/DVD.

This comedy stars David Spade as Dickie Roberts, a 30-something parking valet whose acting career stalled after his childhood stint as a character in a 1970s TV sitcom. He gets a shot at a movie, but the director worries that Dickie knows so little about ordinary everyday life that he won't be able to handle the role. That's when he hires a family to teach him what it's like to grow up in a normal household, leading to a number of complications.

This ethnic and gay-themed comedy is set in an Italian neighborhood of Montreal. Angelo Barberini (Luke Kirby) is an unmarried young adult who decides the time has come to move out of the home of his conservative parents. Then Angelo's friend Nino, a cop, moves in with him, and for a while the two men conceal the fact that they are lovers. But eventually the truth comes out, and there's a messy period of adjustment for all concerned.

John Cusack, Gene Hackman, and Dustin Hoffman star in this courtroom drama based on a John Grisham novel. A widow whose husband was killed with a gun sues the firearm manufacturer, setting up a conflict involving a juror (Cusack), defendant's jury consultant (Hackman), and plaintiff's attorney (Hoffman). Things take a strange turn when the litigants on both sides of the case are informed that the jury is for sale to the highest bidder.
