October 29 - Video and DVD Releases
This is a horror comedy about a small town that is attacked by a horde of enormous, mutant spiders. After a long absence, Chris McCormack (David Arquette) returns to Prosperity, Arizona, partly because he is attracted to Sheriff Sam Parker (Kari Wuhrer), who is the mother of two. Prosperity has fallen on hard times, and after the financial failure of the mall, the mayor permits the storage of toxic waste to provide the town with revenue. However, the toxic wastes contaminate a pond, and insects from that pond are fed to exotic spiders owned by a local collector. The spiders quickly mutate into huge creatures who escape and start eating humans. Chris, Sam, and her kids do what they can against the giant marauding arachnids, and eventually the people of Prosperity make a last stand at the town mall. Selected Special DVD Features:

This is another in a series of political thrillers based on Tom Clancy novels, and again the main character is CIA agent Jack Ryan. This time around Ryan is only 28 years old and is played by Ben Affleck. Working under CIA director Bill Cabot (Morgan Freeman), Ryan soon finds himself caught up in a portentous crisis. A European neo-Nazi (Alan Bates) has acquired a nuclear device and put in motion a diabolical plan to start an all-out war between the U.S. and Russia. After the nuclear device wipes out a large section of Baltimore, the U.S. president (James Cromwell) and his advisers grapple with how to respond. As both America and Russia prepare to launch their nuclear arsenals, it's up to Ryan to uncover the truth and prevent the two superpowers from annihilating each other. Selected Special DVD Features:
