After the mechanic's death, his teenage son Kid (Luke) teams with other young men to found their own motorcycle club, known as the Biker Boyz, and Kid begins to build a reputation by competing in races. In "The Jungle Book 2," Mowgli, the boy, is voiced by Haley Joel Osment and Baloo, the bear, is voiced by John Goodman. Although Mowgli was raised in the jungle by wolves, this movie finds him living with his adoptive human family in a rural village. But Mowgli reunites with his old friend Baloo and, accompanied by the village girl Shanti (voice of Mae Whitman), they head off into the jungle. There Mowgli and Shanti are threatened by a tiger and a big snake, but they have Baloo and Mowgli's other jungle friends to protect them. In the film, Goodman sings "The Bare Necessities."

But after seeing a genocidal massacre, Waters chooses to disobey orders, and he and his commandos escort Dr. Kendricks and a couple of dozen refugees to the Cameroon border, even though the journey must be made on foot. Soon Julia meets Sam (Ethan Embry) and Terry (Dagmara Dominczyk), two young adults who suffered from night terror as children. Julia eventually hypothesizes that there may exist some sort of scary creatures that somehow identify certain children who fear the dark. The creatures keep track of those kids and come back for them years later when they have grown into adulthood. While a number of creepy things happen to Julia, Sam, and Terry, they struggle to deal with the possibility that there really are scary creatures in the night that are out to get them.
