MPAA Rating: PG-13 for mature thematic elements, sexual content and some violent images
Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Eric Bana star in this historical drama adapted from Philippa Gregory's novel. The story is about the Boleyn sisters, Anne (Portman) and Mary (Johansson), both of whom end up at the court of King Henry VIII (Bana) in 16th-century England. The sisters' father tries to advance the family status by pairing Anne with Henry, but the king is attracted to Mary, and the two eventually become lovers. Nevertheless, it ultimately turns out to be Anne that Henry marries. The king's actions are driven in large part by his need to produce a male heir. Selected DVD Special Features:
