ExcellentIn addition to a charming cast of young actors, "Roswell - Season 1" has a strong mix of science fiction, drama, and romance. I had never watched the series before seeing it on DVD. To my mind, the most pleasant surprise about "Roswell" was that there was more character development than I expected given the show's high-concept, science-fiction premise. The package design of the DVD set is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The DVDs have excellent sound and picture quality. In addition, DVDs have bonus features, including commentary on selected episodes.
