I was entertained by the mix of humor and tongue-in-cheek melodrama in this television series on DVD. The show revolves around Jerri Blank, a forty-something former teenage runaway who was "a boozer, a user, a loser," and ex-con before deciding as a grown woman to return to her old life as a high school freshman.
