“Hercules the Legendary Journeys - Season Two” is so campy that it is hard to take seriously. This television series creates a mythic world that is not at all believable, and the stories have a simplicity that is almost cartoon-like. Yet the show’s tongue-in-cheek attitude and sense of good-natured fun is hard to resist. I enjoyed watching the DVDs, even if some of the episodes didn’t completely draw me in. The DVDs have some interesting bonus materials, including commentary on selected episodes in addition to a bonus CD-ROM disc with actor and director biographies, a trivia game, a screensaver, and more.
