"Angel - Season Two" DVD Review
I had a lot of fun watching Angel - Season Two on DVD, and I suspect the show's fans will enjoy it even better than I did. Read a review of Angel Season two on DVD.

"The Simpsons - Season Three" DVD Review
I've always been a fan of The Simpsons and having a chance to see the third season on DVD was a special treat.

"Xena: Warrior Princess - Season Two" DVD Review
Although some episodes didn't draw me in completely, I had a lot of fun watching Xena Warrior Princess - Season Two on DVD. And I suspect fans of this popular TV series will probably enjoy the DVDs even more than I did.

"Highlander - Season Three" DVD Review
Although the season three is uneven and some episodes didn't draw me in completely, I found “Highlander Season Three” was worth watching on DVD. In addition, the DVD set has bonus materials that fans of the series will be interested in.

"Upright Citizens Brigade – The Complete First Season" DVD Review
Upright Citizens Brigade - The Complete First Season can be laugh-out-loud funny and even side-splitting at times. I found this two-disc DVD set to be a real treat. Read a brief review and overview of Upright Citizens Brigade - The Complete First Season on DVD.

"Hercules the Legendary Journeys - Season Two" DVD Review
This television series on DVD creates a mythic world that is not at all believable, and the stories have a simplicity that is almost cartoon-like. Yet the show’s tongue-in-cheek attitude and sense of good-natured fun is hard to resist.

"Xena: Warrior Princess - Season Three" DVD
Some episodes didn't draw me in completely, and the show’s tongue-in-cheek campiness often undermined dramatic momentum. However, that being said, this TV show can be entertaining, and I enjoyed watching Xena Warrior Princess Season Three on DVD even more than the season two DVDs. Read a review of Xena Warrior Princess Season Three on DVD.

"Angel – Season Three" DVD Review
This was one of the better seasons of Angel that I've seen on DVD. However, although there were imaginative aspects to many of the episodes, I thought that the third season of Angel was uneven. I was entertained at times, but the show didn't always draw me in completely. But, all in all, the DVDs were worth watching. I predict that this TV show's many fans will enjoy the DVD set even more than I did. Read a review of Angel Season Three on DVD.

"The Shield – The Complete Second Season" DVD Review
I thought this was a darkly compelling police drama. I was particularly impressed by the complex character study of rogue detective Vic Mackey created by the combination of the strong scripts and what actor Michael Chiklis does with the role.

"South Park - The Complete Third Season" DVD Review
I found South Park - The Complete Third Season to be both a delight and a bit of a guilty pleasure. The humor is definitely for grown-ups and can be crass, tasteless, and decidedly politically incorrect. That being said, I confess I was thoroughly entertained by the DVDs and these very qualities were part of the fun.

"Firefly – The Complete Series" DVD Review
Although the science fiction/western concept of the show didn't completely come together for me, "Firefly" was still worth-watching and was entertaining. In addition, the DVD set has bonus materials that fans of the series will be interested in.

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Five" DVD Review
The fifth season of the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer has an effective and entertaining mix of comedy, horror, and drama, but it also can be a little uneven. Some episodes work a lot better than others, but overall it was worth watching on DVD.

"The X-Files - The Complete Eighth Season" DVD Review
Season seven was David David Duchovny's last full season on The X-Files, and the lack of his charismatic presence in many of the episodes made the season eight DVDs a bit of a disappointment to me. And yet, although this was far from being one of the show's strongest seasons, I still enjoyed watching this TV show on DVD.

"Strangers With Candy - Season Two" DVD Review
Strangers With Candy – Season Two on DVD is a funny, deliciously dark, and often politically incorrect spoof of after school TV specials. I was entertained by the show’s mix of humor and tongue-in-cheek melodrama.

"Dark Angel – Season Two" DVD Review
I enjoyed watching the season two DVDs, and especially liked the sci-fi noir feeling of the shows and the inventive imagination that I've come to expect in this TV series created by James Cameron. Read a review of Dark Angel Season Two on DVD

"24 – Season Two" DVD Review
This smart and often gripping mix of suspense and drama immediately drew me in. I am intrigued by the unusual dramatic structure, which defies my ordinary expectations of a TV drama. Read a short review of 24 - season two on DVD.

"Futurama - Volume Two" DVD Review
Futurama can be just plain silly at times, but it’s also often funny and well-written with lots of wit and smart satire. I laughed loud and often watching Futurama - Volume Two on DVD. Read a short DVD review of Futurama - Volume Two.
