DVD Movie Summary:

Gwyneth Paltrow plays the title role in this biopic about American poet Sylvia Plath, who committed suicide in 1963 at age 30. The film opens in 1956, around the time Plath meets English poet Ted Hughes (Daniel Craig). They soon marry and eventually have two children. Hughes' literary recognition comes earlier than Plath's, and she suspects he is having an affair. Plath's mother is portrayed by Paltrow's mother, Blythe Danner.
