Guide Review - "DarkWolf" DVD Review

A hybrid werewolf roams the streets of L.A., trying to mate with an unsuspecting woman who would then become the matriarch of a lineage that could ultimately take over the world. But the storyline isn't all that important or engaging: it serves only as a pretext upon which to hang sequences of female nudity and violence. "DarkWolf" seemed to me to be a cross between a horror movie and an exploitation flick. Despite gratuitous gore, the film is not that scary. I realize some viewers will find "DarkWolf" to be erotic, but I did not. I think the movie was cynically conceived and has no redeeming artistic value. But especially because of a highly stylized lesbian make-out scene, I know some will enjoy this film more than I did.
