Guide Review - "The Sopranos Season 3" Four-Disc DVD Set
The HBO television show "The Sopranos" is the best dramatic TV series I have ever seen. I really enjoy the continuing saga of northern New Jersey mobster Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) and his two familieshis crime family and his relatives. In Season 3 Tony feuds with subordinate Ralph Cifaretto (Joe Pantoliano). Tonys wife Carmela (Edie Falco) grows increasingly unhappy in her marriage as Tony has a torrid affair with a Mercedes saleswoman (Annabella Sciorra). Tony's daughter Meadow, a Columbia freshman, has romantic problems, and Tony's son Anthony Jr. gets in big trouble at Catholic school. Also, Dr. Melfi (Lorraine Bracco) is raped. "The Sopranos" has won many awards, and as far as Im concerned, it deserves them all.
