Guide Review - Catch Me If You Can DVD Review
This is one of the most delightful, entertaining films I've seen in a long time. Steven Spielberg directed this movie based on a true story. Teenager Frank Abagnale (Leonardo DiCaprio) sets out on his own, eventually cashing forged checks for millions of dollars. Before reaching his 19th birthday, he successfully passes himself off as an airline pilot, a physician, and a lawyer. But Frank must keep on the move to avoid being apprehended by FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks). Although "Catch Me If You Can" was lighthearted, I liked the character development and what Spielberg did with the relationship between Abagnale and Hanratty. The performances of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks also helped to bring their characters alive.
