As much as I enjoyed the movie “Lost in Translation” on DVD, I’m disappointed in the bonus materials provided. There’s no audio commentary track at all, and Coppola doesn’t tell us much about her film in the making-of documentary or the joint interview with her and Murray. Below I’ve given a complete list of the DVD’s special features.

Selected Special Features:

  • Anamorphic Widescreen (1.85:1)
  • English 5.1 Dolby Digital
  • English 5.1 DTS
  • French 5.1 Dolby Digital
  • English Captioned for the Hearing Impaired
  • Spanish Subtitles
  • French Subtitles
  • A Conversation With Bill Murray and Sofia Coppola
  • “Lost” on Location Behind-the-Scenes Documentary
  • Extended and Deleted Scenes (5)
  • Matthew’s Best Hit TV
  • Kevin Shields’ “City Girl” Music Video
  • Theatrical Trailer
