Steven Spielberg directed this lighthearted, entertaining film that stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. The movie is based on Frank Abagnale Jr.'s book about his experiences as a con man back in the 1960s. When Frank (DiCaprio) is about 16, his parents split up after his father (Christopher Walken) gets into deep financial trouble. Young Frank sets out on his own, eventually cashing forged checks for millions of dollars. Before reaching his 19th birthday, he successfully passes himself off as an airline pilot, a physician, and an attorney. But young Frank must keep on the move to avoid being apprehended by FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Hanks). Along the way, Frank gets involved with two attractive young women (Jennifer Garner, Amy Adams) and meets a New Orleans prosecutor (Martin Sheen).
