Guide Review - "King of the Hill - Season One" DVD Review

I realize the sensibilities of series creator Mike Judge ("Beavis and Butthead," "Office Space,") may not be for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching "King of the Hill – Season One" on DVD. Although this is an animated TV series, it is written with enough intelligence and wit to provide some sharp satiric insights into ordinary life. I found that the characters and storylines drew me in. But most importantly, I often laughed out loud at the exploits of "propane and propane accessories" salesman Hank Hill, his substitute teacher wife Peggy, hapless son Bobby, niece Luanne, and his beer-drinking buddies. If you aren't easily offended and like to laugh, I think you'll also enjoy watching this hilarious animated TV series on DVD.
