2012 Oscar Winners on DVD

Some of the 2012 Academy Award winners are already available on DVD, and a firm release date has already been established for others. Already out are Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris (Best Original Screenplay), Beginners (Best Supporting Actor -- Christopher Plummer) and The Help (Best Supporting Actress -- Octavia Spencer). Also immediately available on DVD is Rango, winner of the Best Animated Feature Film. Being released February 28 is Martin Scorsese's Hugo, winner of five Oscars (Cinematography, Art Direction, Visual Effects, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing). Scheduled for DVD release on March 13 is The Descendants, winner of the Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, which is scheduled to be released on DVD on March 20, won an Academy Award for Film Editing. Finally, Meryl Streep won a Best Actress Oscar for The Iron Lady, which also won an Academy Award for Makeup, and this movie is scheduled to be released on DVD on April 10.
